Cloud Computing

The four deployment models are:

Private Cloud - deployed within the DMZ of an organization

Public Cloud - deployed by an external company (public) such as AWS, Azure etc. Since this is external to the organization's DMZ, firewall, security group settings ( IP address range) need to be configured for access to the cloud resources.

Hybrid Cloud - deployed by an external company (public) and connects to internal company resources, applications etc. This also requires firewall, security group settings need to be configured for access to the cloud resources.

Community Cloud - a form of hybrid cloud where multiple companies or organizations share the implementation. Each organization can have its own firewall configuration to connect to the cloud resources.
